REINCARNATION RESEARCH:

PSYCHOGNOSIA founders have completed a book project, Reincarnation Cards - Awakening Far Memory
www.reincarnationcards.com

The card and book set, created by John Knowles and Linda Leblanc, has been called something new under the sun by author-lecturer John Anthony West, originator of the Age of the Sphinx controversy. Dr. Stanley Krippner, the renowned transpersonal psychologist and educator, in his Foreword to the book, calls it a stunning, consciousness-expanding work
.
The authors live in Coral Bay (near Paphos) and are available for free lectures, which include a Powerpoint presentation about the evidence in support of reincarnation, with some stunning slides of children who not only remember past lives but also have physical evidence of trauma from preceding embodiments.

The authors seek to widen the perspective on reincarnation theory, by going beyond the often superficial, sensationalist handling of the subject.  Their approach provides a fresh look at the stunning implications of quantum physics for understanding the true nature of time, space, consciousness and the paranormal.  By presenting a philosophical framework to bring greater clarity and understanding of reincarnational experiences, the authors enable readers independently to gain an insight into who they really are and their purpose in the universe.
Copies of the book are available in Cyprus from the publisher: germaa@spidernet.com.cy
Distributed in USA by New Leaf and BookMasters and in UK by Gazelle
(see website for further details : www.reincarnationcards.com, where an online Reincarnation Cards reading is available)

LECTURES:

We occasionally sponsor informative lectures by international researchers in parapsychology and other related subjects, which are open to the general public and free of charge. High standards of presentations are maintained through an extensive network of international contacts in the field of parapsychology. These popular, thought-provoking talks are designed to present reliable, up-to-date information to the public about scientific research into psychic phenomena, with the aim of providing a wider framework in which to understand the paranormal.

MIND OVER MATTER STUDIES:   Global Consciousnss Project (GCP 2)

For many years, Psychognosia participated in the GCP international research project, by hosting a listening post (Random Number Generator, RNG) in Coral Bay, Cyprus.  Since 1998, the Global Consciousness Project, led by Princeton University’s Dr. Roger Nelson, has been monitoring outputs of RNGs around the world from Fiji to Alaska, in a network designed to document and to display any subtle, but direct effects of our collective consciousness reacting to global events.   One of the guiding models for the GCP is Teilhard de Chardin's idea of a “nöosphere”, or layer of intelligence enveloping the earth. This provides an interesting interpretative background for specific scientific questions such as: Is there a fundamental interconnectedness among all things? A field consciousness?

The international effort, involving researchers from several institutions and many countries, is designed to explore whether collective consciousness can be scientifically validated through
objective measurement. The project builds on excellent experiments conducted over the past 35 years at a number of laboratories, demonstrating that human consciousness interacts with random event generators, apparently "causing" them to produce non-random patterns. There is significant evidence for the hypothesis that the GCP EGGs show anomalous deviations when there is widespread participation or reaction to an event.  Researchers have ruled out electromagnetic effects, electro disturbances from power grids, mobile phone use, etc., as possible sources of the deviations noted in the network.

This world-spanning array of RNG detectors randomly generates packets of data, monitored by personal computers running software, which is then periodically sent over the Internet to a computer in Princeton, New Jersey, for archiving and statistical analysis.   Significant deviations have been noted in randomness of data from these RNGs around times of major events in the world, such as natural disasters, terrible accidents, beginnings of war, World Cup games, celebrations such as New Year’s Eve and worldwide meditations.

Just what is being registered on the EGG network?  While many questions remain unanswered, with such robust evidence of an effect, the experimental results of GCP provide strong confirmation that mind-matter interaction does exist.  It is, of course, possible that an “explanation” will be found, but, at the very least, a broader examination of this phenomenon is warranted. Traditionally receiving little attention from mainstream medical institutions or laboratories until recent times, the substantial body of published data such as that of the GCP does support the possibility that thoughts can have an influence on physical reality.
